Restaurant Manager – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead The Stuffed Zucchini’s operations in Lucan, Ontario. The role combines financial planning, staff leadership, and customer service to ensure a high‑quality dining experience in a rural environment. You will be responsible for budgeting, compliance, and driving the restaurant’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the budget for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies to control costs.
• Evaluate daily operations and adjust processes to improve efficiency.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to maintain service standards.
• Plan and organize daily restaurant activities, including opening and closing procedures.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members.
• Set staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Supervise and train staff on best practices and safety protocols.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are consistently followed.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and help implement promotional plans.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma (1‑2 years) or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management is an asset.
