Restaurant Counter Attendant

About the role

Join a busy restaurant environment as a Counter Attendant, providing fast, friendly service to guests while maintaining a clean and well‑stocked dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs; load buspans and trays.
• Operate dishwashers and hand‑wash items, then store them properly.
• Replenish condiments, supplies and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customer orders, operate the cash register and process payments.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items; portion and wrap take‑out orders.
• Maintain a clean kitchen, including sweeping, mopping and sanitising work surfaces.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in appropriate storage areas.
• Handle cleaning products safely and manage waste removal.
• Participate in promotional activities and suggestive selling.
