About the role

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy restaurant in Edmonton. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will help ensure smooth service, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of 5‑10 staff members.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate daily operations and adjust processes as needed.
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu pricing to stay within budget.
  • Monitor and coach staff performance.
  • Plan, organize, and schedule daily restaurant activities.
  • Supervise, train, and develop a team of 5‑10 employees.
  • Manage inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and handle catering client arrangements.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide excellent service.

Required profile

  • High school graduation (Secondary school certificate).
  • 2 to less than 3 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Completion of the ProServe program.
  • Strong dependability, organization, and reliability.
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team.
