About the role
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy restaurant in Edmonton. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will help ensure smooth service, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of 5‑10 staff members.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate daily operations and adjust processes as needed.
- Modify food preparation methods and menu pricing to stay within budget.
- Monitor and coach staff performance.
- Plan, organize, and schedule daily restaurant activities.
- Supervise, train, and develop a team of 5‑10 employees.
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Enforce health and safety regulations.
- Negotiate with suppliers and handle catering client arrangements.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide excellent service.
Required profile
- High school graduation (Secondary school certificate).
- 2 to less than 3 years of restaurant management experience.
- Completion of the ProServe program.
- Strong dependability, organization, and reliability.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team.
