Respiratory & Industrial SCBA Specialist – Western Canada

About the role

3M is seeking a Respiratory and Industrial SCBA Specialist to drive sales of its safety solutions across Western Canada (BC, AB, SK). You will work closely with distributors, end‑users and internal teams to grow the portfolio and provide technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth of Industrial SCBA and respiratory products, including confined‑space solutions, across the territory.
• Lead respiratory campaigns with distributor partners to support field activities.
• Provide technical support and solution options to end‑users, distributors and internal colleagues.
• Deliver training presentations to customers and channel partners, promoting 3M SCBA and respiratory solutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams on market research, product launches and promotional projects.
• Maintain product and regulatory knowledge through self‑study and corporate training.
• Utilize a company vehicle for travel; undergo pre‑employment and ongoing motor‑vehicle history reviews.

Required profile

• High School diploma/GED (or higher) – verified prior to start.
• Minimum five years of sales experience with a proven record of growth, new customer acquisition, and technical selling.
• Experience in private, public, government or military environments.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Optional: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in the respiratory and SCBA industry is a plus.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Understanding of provincial regulations affecting respiratory product selection.
