Residential Construction Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Residential Construction Supervisor to lead residential building projects in Burnaby. The role involves overseeing daily site activities, ensuring high product quality, and driving productivity improvements. You will manage a crew of 5‑10 workers and coordinate with suppliers and management.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve work problems and provide technical advice.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Supervise workers and overall project execution.
• Coordinate and schedule construction activities.
• Train crew members or arrange for training.
• Read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets.
• Communicate progress to management.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• 1‑2 years experience supervising residential construction.
• Ability to work outdoors in a noisy environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Experience managing a team of 5‑10 people.
