Research Manager – Cardiology & AI

About the role
The Division of Cardiology at UBC’s Faculty of Medicine is seeking a Research Manager to support Dr. Teresa Tsang’s program in cardiac imaging and precision cardiovascular medicine. This role will coordinate health‑data, artificial‑intelligence and precision‑health projects, and help launch new studies and grant applications.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee ongoing projects that integrate health data, AI, and precision health.
- Support the MOSAIC Study, a multi‑site provincial initiative linking genetics to cardiac structure and function.
- Coordinate and execute new research studies, including data collection and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of future grant applications and funding proposals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop AI models that combine phenotypic and genomic information.
Required profile
- Motivated researcher with experience in managing scientific projects.
- Familiarity with cardiovascular research, cardiac imaging, and precision health.
- Ability to work across multiple sites and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
