Research Associate – Executive Search

About the role

Odgers is seeking a Research Associate to support its national executive search delivery team. The role blends market research, data analysis, and technology‑enabled sourcing to help identify high‑potential leaders for private, public and not‑for‑profit organisations across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Provide market knowledge and intelligence to inform business development and search strategies.
• Build and maintain target lists of potential candidates and networking contacts.
• Conduct original research using AI‑enabled tools, research platforms and best‑practice methodologies.
• Deliver timely, high‑quality market and industry insights to the search team.
• Apply sound judgment and data discipline when using technology to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• University or college graduate, or equivalent experience in research, recruitment, executive search, business intelligence or market analysis.
• Curious, self‑directed and detail‑oriented with strong business acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with technology, AI tools, databases and research platforms.
• Strong analytical and data‑driven research capabilities.
