Research Associate – Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain

About the role
The Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Laboratory in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at UBC is seeking a full‑time Research Associate to support multiple projects on endometriosis and pelvic pain. The majority of work will be conducted at BC Women’s Hospital in Vancouver.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate projects, including ethics applications, protocol development, Health Canada approvals and drafting study materials.
- Recruit participants and collect quantitative and qualitative data for various studies.
- Design and evaluate education and knowledge‑translation products for physicians, patients and the public.
- Perform qualitative data analysis.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication.
- Contribute to grant writing.
- Undertake any additional tasks that support the laboratory’s mission and vision.
Required profile
- Strong quantitative research expertise.
- Strong qualitative research expertise.
- Experience with user‑centered design and patient‑oriented research.
- Ability to collaborate with community members and stakeholders.
