Research Assistant/Technician 2 – Centre of Applied Moral Psychology

About the role

The Centre of Applied Moral Psychology at UBC’s Department of Psychology is seeking a part‑time Research Assistant/Technician 2. Working closely with the principal investigator, you will support a range of research activities, from ethics submissions to data collection and financial administration.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit ethical review documents, consent forms, and data‑collection materials.
• Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Assist with the preparation of study updates, reports, and financial documentation.
• Maintain research accounts, process expense payments, and generate financial reports.
• Provide general office support and assist other lab members as needed.

Required profile

• High school graduation with additional training in a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work under close supervision and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
