About the role
We are looking for a reliable and organized individual to support the operation of economic experiments at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management. The role involves participant recruitment, data management, and assisting with both laboratory and online experiments.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit research participants by visiting classes and posting approved recruitment materials across campus.
- Maintain a Qualtrics‑based participant recruitment platform and associated databases.
- Communicate with participants, send study invitations and reminders, and respond to inquiries.
- Assist in the administration of laboratory and online economic experiments, welcoming and monitoring participants.
- Read and explain study instructions to participants when required.
- Troubleshoot technical and operational issues during experiments.
- Operate and oversee computer equipment and software used in the laboratory.
- Ensure accurate record‑keeping and adherence to research protocols involving human participants.
Required profile
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec at the Bronfman Building campus.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

What we offer
- Hourly salary of $19.02 CAD.
- Part‑time position (10 hours per week) from June 10, 2026 to August 31, 2026.
- Fixed‑term contract covered by the AMURE collective agreement.
