Remote Payroll Tax Filing Analyst

About the role
We are looking for a Payroll Tax Filing Analyst to manage daily tax filing administration for multiple legal entities on a remote basis. The role involves ensuring accurate tax remittances, handling client inquiries, and supporting year‑end tax processes.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily tax filing administration and distribution of tax remittances according to jurisdiction guidelines.
- Manage client delivery within the Tax Filing Shared Services and mitigate escalations.
- Respond to client and internal team inquiries regarding tax filings.
- Process year‑end and amended filings, handle agency notices to completion.
- Set up companies in the tax system and conduct payroll‑to‑tax system integration testing.
- Perform bank testing internally and with external clients.
- Liaise with payroll client teams and maintain client‑facing relationships.
Required profile
- Strong reconciliation experience with tax codes and frequencies.
- Hands‑on experience with Canadian taxing agencies (CRA, RQ, provincial bodies).
- Proven ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex tax filing issues.
- Experience in process improvement and root‑cause analysis.
