Remote CPA Accountant – Contract (10‑40 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant to provide expert accounting input for the development of AI training data. This remote contract position offers flexible hours (10‑40 hrs/week) and focuses on reviewing and enhancing financial datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, validate and critique a wide range of financial documents and accounting scenarios.
• Provide clear written and verbal feedback on complex accounting concepts to improve dataset realism.
• Collaborate with data scientists and cross‑functional teams to ensure accounting datasets are accurate and context‑rich.
• Apply knowledge of regulatory environments across the US, UK, Canada, Europe and LATAM to enrich data annotations.

Required profile

• CPA or Auditor designation.
• At least 5 years of professional accounting experience covering bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax and audit.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation abilities with high attention to detail.
