Remote Business Generalist – Canada

About the role

Rex.zone is seeking a mid‑senior Remote Business Generalist to support cross‑functional operations across planning, execution, analytics, coordination, and process improvement. You will partner with product, sales, finance, HR, and customer operations to drive measurable outcomes through clear documentation, KPI reporting, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cross‑functional initiatives from intake to launch, defining scope, milestones, owners, risks, and dependencies.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, documentation, and operating processes.
• Create and maintain KPI reporting, dashboards, and performance narratives on a weekly/monthly cadence.
• Run operational cadences such as stand‑ups, business reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring actions are unblocked.
• Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and measure impact on cycle time, quality, or cost.
• Coordinate vendors and internal stakeholders, managing communications and status updates.
• Support leadership with planning, prioritization, and structured decision‑making materials.

Required profile

• Mid‑senior experience in business operations, program management, business analysis, or generalist roles.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Hands‑on KPI reporting experience with metrics, dashboards, and operational data.
• Excellent written documentation skills (requirements, SOPs, meeting notes, status reports).
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams remotely with high ownership and clear communication.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and creating structure through process design.
