Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Part‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our long‑term care home on a part‑time basis. You will provide high‑quality resident care in alignment with nursing standards, physicians’ orders, and our administrative policies.

Key responsibilities

• Observe, record, and report vital signs, symptoms, and resident conditions.
• Develop, implement, review, and evaluate individualized resident care plans.
• Monitor health status, note changes, and coordinate referrals to physicians as needed.
• Execute physician orders and oversee restorative and palliative care activities.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing and personal care staff on the unit.
• Ensure compliance with infection‑control practices and regulatory policies.

Required profile

• Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and infection‑control procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to senior care.
