Registered Nurse – Pediatric School Care

About the role

WeeCare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide pediatric care within a school setting in Etobicoke. You will create a safe, nurturing environment for children, their families, and school staff, delivering consistent, high‑quality health support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bladder irrigation and catheter care and management.
• Administer and document prescribed medications following CNO standards.
• Monitor medication safety, including narcotics control.
• Maintain accurate child health records and required documentation.
• Assist with personal hygiene, daily living activities, ambulation, and use of adaptive aids.
• Observe and report changes in the child’s condition to parents/guardians and WeeCare.
• Offer cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child and family.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment for the child’s equipment and belongings.
• Notify supervisors of safety concerns, incidents, or accidents.

Required profile

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
• Experience working with pediatric clients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the past six months.
• Professional Liability Insurance (PLI).
