Registered Practical Nurse

About the role

Charm Fertility is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a women’s fertility clinic. The role involves autonomous clinical practice, collaboration with physicians, and delivering compassionate support to patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Administer medications (subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral), collect blood samples, and educate patients on treatment cycles and self‑injections.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for women and their partners, coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members, and document care in the Electronic Medical Record system.
• Provide emotional support, counseling, and grief counseling throughout the fertility journey.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement, maintain professional standards, and contribute to high patient satisfaction.

Required profile

• Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• 2–3 years of medical/surgical fertility experience preferred.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification preferred.

Required skills

• Medication administration (subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral).
• Blood collection techniques.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) knowledge.
