About the role
One regular part‑time Registered Nurse position is available in the Medicine department at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.
Required profile
- Current College of Nurses certificate of competence
- Current BCLS & ACLS certification (or commitment to obtain)
- Certified to start IVs and administer IV medications (or commitment to obtain)
- Defibrillation and cardiac pacing certification required
- Coronary Care Course or equivalent
- Recent experience in medical nursing, including palliative care
- Well‑developed assessment skills
- Ability to serve as charge nurse
- Satisfactory performance, attendance and reference checks
- Police Vulnerable Sector Check and pre‑employment health assessment
Required skills
- BCLS & ACLS
- IV therapy and medication administration
- Defibrillation and cardiac pacing
- Coronary care
- CVADS (Central Venous Access Devices)
- 12‑lead ECG interpretation
- Palliative care nursing
- Medical assessment and documentation
What we offer
- Hourly wage ranging from $41.15 to $58.98
