About the role

As a Registered Nurse at TELUS Health, you will be the clinical cornerstone of a dynamic Calgary‑based team, providing honest health guidance, preventative care, and compassionate support to a diverse clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, preventative screenings, and wellness counseling for the Family Health program.
• Manage chronic and complex conditions, designing and evaluating individualized care plans.
• Perform clinical interventions such as vaccinations, injections, cervical cancer screening, wound care, ECG, and spirometry.
• Tri­age urgent concerns, provide anticipatory guidance, and coordinate community referrals.
• Deliver one‑on‑one travel health consultations, including vaccine reviews, risk mitigation, and medication counseling.
• Collaborate with occupational and executive health teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Partner with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, practice evidence‑based, culturally informed care, and contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection.

Required profile

• BN or BScN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CARNA license in good standing.
• Current BLS Provider certification.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in a public or private primary‑care setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency navigating EMR systems.
• Basic competency with Microsoft Word.
• Basic competency with Microsoft Excel.
