Regional Sales Manager – Foodservice & Distributor

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead our Foodservice and Distributor sales across the Greater Toronto Area. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive volume, net sales and profitability for Lactalis’ branded and private‑label dairy portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, hire and develop a team of sales professionals, set goals, review performance and manage succession planning.
• Design and execute go‑to‑market strategies for pricing, promotions and merchandising, ensuring team alignment.
• Oversee the full sales cycle with key accounts and contracted customers, coordinating with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance and Customer Service.
• Manage regional budgets, approve spend and monitor competitive activity to inform senior‑management decisions.
• Develop annual business and trade‑spend plans to meet volume, net‑sales and profitability targets.
• Negotiate new contracts and renewals, handling pricing, volume, term and exclusivity clauses in partnership with legal.
• Implement price increases and promotional initiatives in collaboration with Trade Marketing.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales teams in foodservice, distribution or dairy sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across internal functions and external customers.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and drive profitable growth.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial contracts.
