About the role
South Country Equipment, a family‑owned John Deere dealer network in southern Saskatchewan, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop its sales team. You will work directly with farmers and growers, helping them select the right equipment to boost productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Provide training, coaching and development for the regional sales team.
- Design coverage plans to ensure the right number and type of salespeople in each geography.
- Analyze current and historical market conditions to set realistic market‑share and used‑equipment targets.
- Set clear sales goals, pipeline expectations and customer‑experience standards, and monitor performance.
- Join salespeople on farm visits to build relationships and demonstrate effective sales techniques.
- Stay informed on John Deere product updates and industry innovations.
