Meat/Seafood Department Manager

About the role

Lead the Meat and Seafood department of a Real Canadian Superstore in Regina, ensuring excellent customer service, profitability and a safe shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, stock, pricing and merchandising of the department.
• Drive sales and profitability targets while managing inventory and expenses.
• Train, coach and develop associates in product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and coordinate replenishment with other departments.
• Recruit and retain talent, fostering an inclusive and engaged team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Previous retail management experience, preferably in a department or specialty store.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends; able to lift up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Office.
