Regional Operations Specialist

About the role

COBS Bread is seeking a Regional Operations Specialist to support its Prairies bakery network. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will travel across the region, providing hands‑on operational guidance, training, and performance monitoring to help franchisees improve sales, profit, and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular in‑bakery visits to assess merchandising, customer experience, and product quality.
• Provide on‑site training and operational support to address improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and implement local marketing initiatives.
• Assist franchisees in executing profit‑improvement plans as directed by the Regional Director.
• Participate in production process reviews, ensuring recipe compliance and schedule adherence.
• Attend Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews and contribute actionable insights.
• Monitor compliance with OH&S policies and standard expectations.

Required profile

• High‑energy, positive attitude with strong relationship‑building skills.
• 1‑2 years of operations experience, preferably in a franchise retail environment.
• 2+ years of customer‑service experience.
• 1‑2 years in food service, hospitality, or franchise industry.
• Baking experience is required.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently.
