Regional Finance Manager

About the role

The Regional Finance Manager will lead finance operations for Ipas Network in Canada and support assigned country offices. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, the role ensures robust financial reporting, compliance, and stewardship of resources across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Ipas Standard Operating Procedures for accounting, finance systems, and procurement.
• Drive timely month‑end and year‑end close processes according to the closing calendar.
• Review and validate financial reports, balance‑sheet accounts, and reconciliations for Canada and other assigned countries.
• Upload analysis and working papers to the central server and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor local financial, registration, and tax regulations to prevent exposures.
• Support internal and external audits, implement corrective actions, and conduct limited‑scope audits of expense documentation.
• Develop and enhance financial tools and mechanisms to improve reporting, reconciliation, and internal controls.

Required profile

• Legal right to reside and work in Canada.
• Proven experience in finance management, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Ability to partner with Country Finance Managers and provide thought leadership.
• Strong analytical skills to develop financial tools and improve processes.
