About the role

Mallette, the fourth‑largest accounting firm in Quebec, is looking for a Director of International Tax to lead its tax and legal services team. You will advise corporate and personal clients on cross‑border tax reorganisations, planning, and compliance within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage international tax engagements for Canadian and foreign clients.
• Oversee administrative client management and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Supervise, mentor and train team members within the tax department.
• Conduct research on Canadian tax implications of cross‑border transactions.
• Advise on trans‑national tax issues and validate Canadian tax impacts of foreign operations.
• Review and coordinate Canadian tax filings for non‑resident individuals.
• Liaise with Canadian tax authorities for inquiries and audits.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in international tax, preferably in a senior or director role.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax law and its interaction with foreign jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills in French and English.
