Recruitment Coordinator – 3‑Month Contract

About the role

FLINT is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end onboarding process for new hires. This 3‑month contract role works closely with the Recruitment Team, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for candidates on their first day.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate centralized recruitment onboarding and administration, confirming position requirements with hiring managers and providing status updates.
• Create, send, and track offer letters; schedule and monitor drug, alcohol, and occupational health testing through approved vendors.
• Validate receipt of required documents and certifications, following up on any outstanding items.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout onboarding, ensuring compliance and delivering first‑day details to new hires.
• Maintain project spreadsheets, metrics, and participate in project meetings to share updates.

Required profile

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Grade 12 education; additional education or experience in recruitment/onboarding is a plus.
