Recruiter – Talent Acquisition

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Richmond, BC. You will support FedEx’s hiring goals by managing end‑to‑end recruitment for hourly positions and ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the full recruitment and selection process, including posting jobs on multiple platforms, screening resumes, conducting driver pre‑placement assessments and criminal record checks.
• Collaborate with senior department members to apply the most effective hiring strategies and meet corporate hiring objectives.
• Produce weekly recruitment activity reports, highlight issues and propose solutions.
• Source qualified hourly candidates through targeted outreach, niche job boards, career fairs, university campus events and diversity fairs.
• Build and maintain a talent pool to fill open positions quickly, cost‑effectively and with the best fit.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of direct recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
