Recruiter – High Volume Driver Hiring

About the role

The Recruiter is responsible for attracting, screening, and hiring qualified drivers and other staff across multiple terminals. This high‑volume position focuses on ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate HR records, and supporting broader HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Source, interview, and select drivers meeting company hiring criteria and operational requirements.
• Conduct behavioral interviews, coordinate onboarding, and deliver training before assignment.
• Develop and post job ads on various platforms; perform proactive headhunting and online sourcing.
• Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and build internal referral pipelines.
• Support recruitment for internal roles in warehouse, CSR, billing, and operations.
• Prepare employment documentation, including offer letters.
• Update HR systems, manage personnel and safety files, and ensure certification compliance (WSIB).
• Compile recruitment statistics, assist in trend analysis, and support HR events and job fairs.
• Coordinate HR processes across multiple locations to ensure consistency.
