Receiving Associate – Part Time (5PM Starts, Weekday & Weekend)

About the role

The Receiving Associate works with a team to unload merchandise, verify quantity and quality, and enter incoming freight information into the store system. This part‑time position starts at 5 PM and requires availability on weekdays and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Unload trucks using electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pullers or forklifts and move freight to staging areas.
• Check vendor packing slips, shipping documents and UPC labels against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Enter receipt data into the First Phone system and schedule deliveries.
• Maintain a clean receiving area, remove pallets and cardboard, and dispose of trash at shift end.
• Stock merchandise on shelves, build end caps, and support merchandising directives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of receiving or shipping experience.
• Licensed to operate powered lift equipment (electric pallet jack, reach truck, forklift).
• Ability to lift heavy items, bend, stoop, climb ladders and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
