Quality Control Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Wildstone Construction is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead and expand its company‑wide quality management program across its offices in Penticton, Kelowna (BC) and Whitehorse (YT). You will set program guidelines, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement on construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive project quality management system.
• Coach and mentor project and site teams on quality control practices.
• Conduct and document quality, environmental and safety inspections.
• Create and manage reporting processes that keep stakeholders informed of quality metrics.
• Identify rework and deficiencies, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Track continuous‑improvement initiatives and report results to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling quality management programs in construction.
• Demonstrated ability to develop detailed reporting systems for quality and work performance.
• Strong background in risk‑management planning and mitigation on ICI projects.
• Experience achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification or similar quality standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with a track record of reducing rework and deficiencies.
