Quality Control Inspector

About the role

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to ensure the precision and compliance of aircraft parts, materials, and documentation. The role is critical to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in aviation.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Site Quality Manager and perform inspections to verify conformity with regulatory requirements, design certification criteria, DHC SOPs, and customer specifications.
• Make informed decisions to approve or deny inspected aeronautical products and record inspection outcomes.
• Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive inspection records, investigation reports, and certifications.
• Document service or repair activities related to inspected products.
• Evaluate and manage the impact of changes to the Quality Management System on site operations.
• Provide recommendations for adjustments to rules, policies, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with part suppliers and the DHC QA department to resolve non‑conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review and analyze aeronautical product documentation.
• Work with part makers and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Certificates of Conformance and Airworthiness Release Certificates.
