Quality Control Inspector – Aircraft Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Quality Control Inspector to join the Calgary manufacturing quality department of De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited. The role involves ensuring that aircraft components and assemblies meet stringent airworthiness and customer quality requirements through thorough inspections and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑process and final inspections of detail parts, minor and structural assemblies, and major aircraft assemblies.
• Execute First Article Inspections and verify compliance with process specifications and material requirements.
• Control and document non‑conforming material in line with company quality assurance procedures.
• Manage the calibration, control, and documentation of monitoring and measuring devices.
• Liaise with quality, methods, design engineering and supply‑chain teams to resolve technical or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, product metrics and support continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experience in aerospace or aircraft manufacturing quality inspection.
• Knowledge of airworthiness standards and product inspection plans.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
