About the role
The Quality Control Coordinator – High Rise is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Calgary, responsible for ensuring that high‑rise construction work complies with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement the project quality control plan for high‑rise builds.
- Inspect work in progress, document deficiencies, and verify corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and QC checklists.
- Collaborate with trades, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
- Support pre‑occupancy and turnover inspections.
- Participate in site trade meetings and communicate quality expectations.
Required profile
- Strong quality control and assurance experience on construction projects.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and high‑rise construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple inspections and reports concurrently.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Previous experience in a quality‑focused construction role is preferred.
