Quality Control Coordinator – High Rise

About the role

The Quality Control Coordinator – High Rise is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Calgary, responsible for ensuring that high‑rise construction work complies with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the project quality control plan for high‑rise builds.
• Inspect work in progress, document deficiencies, and verify corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and QC checklists.
• Collaborate with trades, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.
• Support pre‑occupancy and turnover inspections.
• Participate in site trade meetings and communicate quality expectations.

Required profile

• Strong quality control and assurance experience on construction projects.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and high‑rise construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple inspections and reports concurrently.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Previous experience in a quality‑focused construction role is preferred.
