Quality Assurance Advisor

About the role

The Cahill Group is looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Advisor to join its Corporate QHSE department in St. John’s, NL. You will work closely with project teams, operations, and senior leadership to ensure that processes remain effective, practical, and aligned with client and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, implement, and continuously improve the ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead internal audits and support external ISO, regulatory, and client audits.
• Manage the Quality Incident process (NCR/CAR) in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Monitor client satisfaction, quality performance indicators, and report trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct supplier and subcontractor audits and maintain the Cahill Supplier List database.
• Support management reviews and contribute to strategic quality objectives.
• Provide configuration control of quality documentation and assist project teams with close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a quality role within construction or project‑based environments.
• Hands‑on experience with ISO 9001, internal and external audits, and quality incident management.
• Proven ability to write and edit procedures, technical documents, and audit reports.
• Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing audit results and driving continual improvement.
• Self‑motivated, able to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
