About the role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our Montreal team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high‑quality software solutions in a fast‑paced, production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust Python applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Design and implement scalable, high‑performance systems.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Implement unit tests and ensure code quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Python development (6‑10 years).
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming (OOP).
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
