Proposal Manager

About the role

The client, a well‑established construction organization in Vancouver, is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead pursuit submissions from strategy through final delivery. You will work closely with senior leadership, pre‑construction, and operations teams to win high‑profile projects and shape proposal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of RFQs, RFPs, EOIs, and other pursuit submissions.
• Manage proposal schedules, timelines, and submission requirements to ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical information and create compelling content.
• Review and refine submissions for accuracy, quality, compliance, and presentation.
• Support interview preparation, presentation development, and shortlisted pursuits.
• Maintain proposal content libraries, CRM data, and pursuit tracking tools.
• Mentor and support proposal team members while improving processes and standards.
• Collaborate with business development, estimating, and operations teams on growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in proposal, business development, marketing, or pursuit management within construction, engineering, architecture, or related professional services.
• Strong understanding of proposal and procurement processes, including RFQs and RFPs.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.
