Property Manager

About the role

The Property Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned property, leading the on‑site team and ensuring financial and operational goals are met. This role oversees budgeting, rent collection, lease enforcement, resident satisfaction, and compliance with Greystar policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage property budgets, analyze financial statements and market trends to meet revenue targets.
• Oversee rent collection, invoice approval, petty‑cash management and preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Enforce lease terms, approve applications, conduct inspections, handle evictions and collect late fees.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and ensuring timely maintenance services.
• Supervise property staff, conduct hiring, training and performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate or related field preferred.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution and customer service skills.

Required skills

• Valid Real Estate License in the province and good standing.
• Proficiency with property management software, preferably Yardi.
• Competence in internet, word processing, spreadsheet and database management programs.
• Management and supervisory abilities to lead maintenance and office staff.
