Project Manager – New‑Build Light Industrial Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead new‑build light industrial construction projects in Edmonton. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver light‑industrial construction projects, managing all phases from design to closeout.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor milestones and proactively address delays.
• Control project budgets, forecast costs, manage changes and provide financial reporting.
• Coordinate procurement, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiations and contract award for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Lead contract administration, including review, negotiation and execution of contracts, sub‑contracts and change orders.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, municipal authorities and other stakeholders to obtain approvals and resolve issues.
• Implement project controls, cost‑tracking systems, document management and reporting procedures.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, and support field teams with resources, materials and information.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing new‑build light industrial, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution projects.
• Post‑secondary education in construction management, engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and a commitment to safety culture.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build relationships with clients, consultants and suppliers.
