About the role
Our client in Surrey, BC is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their Projects & Planning team. This permanent position starts with full‑time onsite work for three months and then moves to a hybrid schedule, supporting strategic planning, project coordination, and organizational change.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with executives and department leaders to develop and execute strategic and business plans, including annual and quarterly cycles.
- Facilitate planning sessions to align organizational goals, departmental priorities, and project portfolios.
- Lead monthly update meetings with stakeholders to drive successful business outcomes.
- Initiate, plan, and coordinate projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing scope, requirements, risks, budgets, timelines, and communications.
- Monitor project progress, resolve issues, manage escalations, and contribute to risk mitigation.
- Develop clear communications for planning initiatives, projects, and change management activities.
- Support training, process mapping, and change adoption initiatives.
- Champion governance processes and project management best practices.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, project management, process mapping, change management, and corporate communications.
- Degree or certification in Business, Commerce, Technology, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
