Project Coordinator – Hybrid (Vancouver)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support organization‑wide project delivery and PMO operations for the Health Employers Association of British Columbia. Reporting to the Program Portfolio Manager, you will work in a hybrid setting from our Vancouver office, helping to plan, track and report on cross‑departmental initiatives that impact the province’s health‑care system.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to plan and execute cross‑departmental projects.
• Maintain project schedules, action logs, risk registers and status reports, ensuring accuracy and timely escalation of issues.
• Develop and distribute governance materials to support oversight and decision‑making.
• Facilitate communication with internal teams, vendors, HEABC members, the Ministry of Health and health authorities.
• Prepare reports and documentation that enable informed decisions and implementation readiness.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Experience working in a collaborative, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Project scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel).
• Risk and issue management documentation.
• Report writing and presentation preparation.
