Project Coordinator – Construction

About the role

Pine Glen is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support construction projects across residential, commercial and institutional sectors. The role combines technical take‑off work, material ordering, client liaison and project administration to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the unit‑price database for accurate material take‑offs and ordering.
• Perform quantity take‑offs from construction drawings and compute raw‑material cost estimates.
• Review specifications and drawings to define scope of work and identify value‑engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate material orders, deliveries and site logistics for tiles, plumbing fixtures, brick and other items.
• Develop and sustain positive relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Identify risk areas and communicate them to co‑owners.
• Prepare layouts and elevations for site superintendents and trade vendors.
• Manage project administration using BuilderTrend or similar software and ensure accurate project accounting.
• Lead project meetings, collect client payments within contract terms and oversee commercial project close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project coordination experience in construction (residential, commercial or institutional).
• Strong understanding of quantity take‑off processes, cost estimating and material procurement.
• Proven ability to maintain detailed records and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Capability to identify and mitigate project risks.

Required skills

• BuilderTrend (or comparable construction management software).
• Proficiency with unit‑price databases and material cost tracking.
• Ability to perform accurate quantity take‑offs from drawings.
