Program Coordinator – Master of Global Health

About the role

The Master of Global Health (MGH) Program Coordinator supports the MGH Program Director, Manager and the School of Population and Public Health education team in delivering the graduate program. The role oversees admissions, student advising, practicum coordination and professional development activities for approximately 30 enrolled students.

Key responsibilities

• Administer all admissions processes, including application review, communication with prospective students and enrollment.
• Provide academic advising to current students and maintain accurate student records.
• Coordinate practicum placements, monitor student deliverables and liaise with external partners.
• Organise and facilitate professional‑development events for students, staff and volunteers.
• Identify process improvements, resolve complex issues and ensure a service‑oriented environment.
• Support school‑wide initiatives and collaborate with senior education managers and clerical staff.

Required profile

• Experience in higher‑education program administration or similar coordination role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in a university setting.

• Fixed‑term 6‑month appointment (0.6 FTE, 21 hours per week).
• Monthly salary range $4,739 – $5,102 CAD.
