Program Coordinator Cyber Security

About the role

The Program Coordinator Cyber Security will provide strategic coordination and administrative support for projects, research activities and issue management within the City of Toronto’s Cyber Security division. Reporting to the Director of the CISO Office, the role ensures policies, procedures and initiatives are effectively implemented across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead specific cyber‑security policies, projects and initiatives, ensuring clear communication and high‑quality outcomes.
• Provide direction and guidance to project teams and act as the central point of contact for internal divisions, agencies and external partners.
• Prepare and process confidential correspondence, reports, presentations, minutes and statistical statements.
• Develop and implement administrative standards and procedures to support division workload priorities.
• Manage daily appointments, meetings, travel arrangements and urgent requests from senior city officials.
• Anticipate issues, recommend actions and keep Directors fully briefed on matters requiring their attention.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating projects or initiatives in a cyber‑security or governmental environment.
• Strong analytical judgement and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to interact with senior leadership.
• Organizational agility to manage competing priorities and urgent requests.
