Professor – Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

About the role

Lambton College is seeking a dedicated professor to join its Faculty of Applied Science, Engineering Technology and Trades. You will teach and mentor students in the Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician program, fostering a dynamic learning environment that prepares graduates for industry success.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, labs, and workshops for HVAC‑related courses.
• Design, revise, and update curriculum and course materials.
• Create assessments, rubrics, and evaluate student achievement.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students.
• Participate in faculty committees and contribute to institutional initiatives.
• Maintain current industry knowledge through collaboration with industry partners.

Required profile

• Relevant academic credentials and professional experience in heating, refrigeration, and air‑conditioning technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver post‑secondary curriculum.
• Commitment to student success and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
