Production Operator (Waterville)

About the role

Michelin's Waterville plant in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, is hiring Production Operators. The role involves working with high-performance teams to bring innovative products to life, with extensive training in safety and quality. Shifts are 12 hours long and rotate between days, nights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality procedures to deliver superior products to customers.
• Operate production machinery, monitor equipment condition and performance, detect abnormalities, take corrective action and suggest improvements.
• Perform manual operations such as stacking raw material, handling finished products and carrying out quality inspections.
• Follow production plans to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with support teams to test new methods, overcome challenges and reduce waste.

Required profile

• Availability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Legal right to work in Canada; the position is not available for work permit sponsorship.
