Production Control Coordinator – Overnights

About the role

The Production Control Coordinator works overnight to manage the flow of work across e‑commerce, retail, strategic, transfer and footwear departments in a North America distribution center. Reporting to the Production Control Supervisor, the coordinator ensures that wave and queue processes meet departmental service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate release of work to all departments through strategic workflow management.
• Monitor order queues for every workstream, analyzing reports to maintain optimal flow.
• Investigate waving issues and fallout, communicate findings, and follow up for timely resolution.
• Update wave rules based on business needs and verify accuracy.
• Provide direction for the overnight shift and make real‑time decisions with minimal supervision.
• Maintain and share shift metrics and reports throughout the night.
• Collaborate with team members, support training, team‑building activities and respond to management or partner requests.

Required profile

• Willingness to work the Thursday‑Monday overnight schedule (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
• Strong communication skills to resolve issues across multiple departments.
• Analytical ability to interpret reports and adjust workflow accordingly.
• Capability to make independent decisions that impact operations.
