Production Attendant I – Cheese Packaging Line

About the role

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is looking for an Attendant, Production I for its ATS line, under the responsibility of the Manager, Production. The incumbent handles, forms and places product into packaging material on the production assembly line, ensuring quality and safety throughout the process. The position is on the afternoon shift (3:00 pm to 1:00 am) on a 3-week rotating schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Process cheese into the required packaging while keeping the line properly supplied and performing routine quality checks (e.g. weight, dimensions).
• Complete all required documents and sanitation procedures accurately.
• Set up, take down and sanitize machines when needed during the day.
• Meet or exceed daily production efficiency targets set by the supervisor or production manager.

Required profile

• Food, dairy or manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Ability to work on foot for extended periods.
• Team player who can also work independently.

Required skills

• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to multi-task.
