Product Manager - Data Platform

About the role

PointClickCare is seeking a Product Manager to lead its Data Platform portfolio. You will own the roadmap for scalable, trusted data that powers downstream products, analytics, and workflows across the platform. The role blends deep domain expertise with cross‑functional collaboration to deliver high‑quality, well‑modeled data.

Key responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and backlog, prioritising datasets and platform capabilities based on customer value and business impact.
• Translate domain needs into clear data definitions, schemas and requirements for both external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Run continuous discovery with domain experts and engineering to understand data sources, transformations and usage.
• Partner with data platform engineers to guide datasets through transformation stages, ensuring quality and trust.
• Define and monitor data health, adoption and usability metrics to inform roadmap decisions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management experience, preferably with B2B enterprise customers.
• Experience managing software or platform products through the full development lifecycle.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills with both technical and business audiences.

Required skills

• Azure Data Lake (or comparable cloud data platform).
• Databricks.
• SQL.
• Python (preferred).
• Data modeling, schema design and data transformation.
• Data cataloguing and governance.
