Product Advisor – Automotive Sales

About the role

The Product Advisor works on the sales floor of OpenRoad Toyota Port Moody, helping customers find the right vehicle and guiding them through the purchase process. This full‑time position focuses on delivering exceptional service, building relationships, and contributing to the dealership’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer needs by asking questions, listening, and recommending suitable new or pre‑owned vehicles.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations, test drives, and explain features, pricing, warranties, and financing options.
• Prospect new customers through referrals and networking to expand the dealership’s client base.
• Deliver sold vehicles, ensure customers understand operation, warranty, and paperwork, and introduce them to the Service Department.
• Set monthly sales goals, track progress, and follow dealership processes to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels and negotiate confidently.
• Current VSA MDC license and a valid British Columbia driver’s licence with a clean record.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, internet research, and MS Office for record‑keeping.
