Procurement Specialist

About the role

Ranger Design is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its supply chain team. You will be responsible for sourcing, quoting, and ordering input materials while maintaining strong supplier relationships across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Source, plan, quote, schedule and order input material for production.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships and act as the central point of contact.
• Communicate project timelines and deadlines to internal teams and ensure commitments are met.
• Perform supplier assessment audits and monitor daily shortages, creating plans to eliminate them.
• Issue fast, accurate quotes to internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to profitability by influencing Total Cost of Ownership.
• Support internal customers and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role.
• Strong analytical, quantitative reasoning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, business acumen and ability to work under pressure.
• Bilingual capability (English and French) for Quebec‑based positions.

Required skills

• Experience with an ERP system, preferably Epicor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
